New Fire Station

The Rural Economic Action Plan (REAP) fund has provided the City of Eufaula with a grant of $100,000 to begin the construction of a new fire station. The City of Eufaula will use those funds to do site pad work, rough plumbing, and concrete building pad; any leftover funds will be directed towards construction costs. Additionally, the City of Eufaula will use our 2021 ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) Grant (248K), and the 2022 ARPA Grant (248K) to construct the building and office/training space. The Eufaula Volunteer Fire Department is putting together design plans, after which project bidding will begin.

The site location will be located at 1712 JM Bailey Hwy. The building will be approximately 120 to 140 feet wide and 80 feet deep, with 4 to 6 truck bays front and back and 2400 square feet of training and office space.

The City of Eufaula will manage the project cost to be $600,000, which is the amount of grant funds available. We will provide more information as the project progresses.
